The Pan American Championships in Cochabamba, Bolivia were hosted at one of the fastest tracks in the world, at an altitude of 8,500ft/2,590m. Thankfully, we had a National Team preparation camp in Colorado Springs at 6,500ft beforehand to get acclimated. It was for sure, a memorable week all around for Team USA.
Bronze in the Sprints, 6th in the Keirin and a PB in the Flying 200m (10.463)! Broke the National Record and then my teammate set a new one! Congrats to my teammate, Maddie Godby for setting the new Women’s National Record in the Flying 200m (10.414) and Kelsey Mitchell of Cycling Canada with a new Women’s World Record in the Flying 200m (10.154)!!!!!
I’m fairly pleased with my results and the progression. Walking away with some vaubable experience and Olympic Qualification points for Tokyo 2020. Thank you, USA Cycling for all your support – from coaches to staff. It’s always a privilege and an honor to represent my country, especially with teammates and an awesome support crew!
Thank to my sponsors & team, Team Novo Nordisk – we are #ChangingDiabetes 💙
